The behavioral analysis uses a set of principles to control the intended behaviors. It helps individuals to acquire various language abilities, play, and self-help skills. The ABA providers use these principles to combat maladaptive behaviors such as self-stimulatory behaviors, self-injury, and aggression among others. Most of the ABA providers are skilled people with vast experience. Hence, in many cases, parents prefer competent providers whose philosophical ideas rhymes with theirs in the applied behavior analysis Alabama principles.

Skinner is the inventor of behavioral learning theory. In his lab trials, he altered the behavior of a dog by using food. The food stimulated the dog to behave well. In this experiment, food is the stimulant, and it serves as a reward or reinforcement that makes the dog behave in an expected manner. ABA teachers are encouraged to use reinforcers like fruits to regulate behavior and change the reinforcers as training continues.

The early childhood teachers use the repetitive method to facilitate faster grasping of knowledge. The same way ABA stresses on practice to attain the intended actions. The environment is rich in elements that enable children to acquire a wide range of skills. Children with autism learn better from a well-displayed environment. Learning occurs spontaneously, and children gain skills naturally.

ABA is mainly concerned with setting up the environment that acts as an avenue for children, especially those with autism, to source information. The organization of the environment is in line with the principles of ABA. Then, an ABA teacher continually emphasizes on the utilization of positive reinforcements to produce desirable habits. Hence, applied behavioral analysis is more of a science than philosophy, which has shown partial evidence of developing necessary skills in developmentally disordered brains, especially in early childhood.

Briefly, applied behavioral analysis provides the pre-requisites for allowing children to acquire knowledge naturally. In school, apart from behavioral learning approach, children learn through real objects, question-answer method, and explanations. Many children also learn from the people around them without any assistance. Studies have shown that children, with freedom to learn by themselves, do not get autism. It is, therefore, necessary to teachers and parents, to give children the liberty of seeking knowledge by themselves.

Many people are still ignorant of the application of ABA. In short, ABA is used to teach many skills. Application of ABA principles may maximize or minimize behavior. However, the goal of ABA therapists is to influence positive behaviors like toileting, communication skills, eating, reading, self-care, dressing, sharing and many other socially significant habits.

In ABA skill training program, parents play a fundamental role by providing vital information concerning the child, which helps in guiding the ABA program. The daily activities undertaken by parents at home also instill vital skills in children. From observation, significant progress is evident in children with vibrant parents who actively participate in these programs.

Typically, therapists carry out ABA training programs for the young in the home. They work with several unique materials and an insightful area of operation. The program can run up to a maximum of two hours in a week. Parents may borrow tips from the training program and teach their children more skills. ABA providers can liaise with schoolteachers to maximize accepted behaviors in the classroom.
